Met Gala Series: Karl Lagerfeld

If you know me, then you know the Met Gala is my Super Bowl😌✨ So in honor of leading up to it, I wanted to create Streetwear & contemporary looks to represent the last 20 years of Met Gala themes (2006–2025). I have a quick description of what each celebrated + the red carpet vibe. I hope you enjoy this series & would love to hear what Met Gala themes were your favorites!🖤✨ 2023 — Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty Honored the legacy of Karl Lagerfeld and his work across Chanel, Fendi, and beyond. Vibe: black & white drama, pearls, camellias, structured glamour. Keeping true to Karl Lagerfeld, i created a full black and white tweed look. Paired with a classic Chanel quilted bag and Resille boots. Then accessorized with Chanel and Fendi jewelry, lace moto gloves (as Karl always wore gloves), and these really cool Chanel sunglasses.
