Diana’s Dress…

A piece of fashion history, on view in London. Princess Diana’s iconic black silk dress by Christina Stambolian, worn on 29 June 1994 at the Serpentine Gallery, is currently on display at Sotheby’s London — until September 24, before heading to New York for auction in December. I have admired Diana for as long as I can remember. Her way of dressing always felt deeply personal to me — elegant, feminine, effortless, yet never without character.
