UNDERCOVER AW05 “ARTS & CRAFTS” HEART & LIGHTNING DENIM

Jun Takahashi’s AW05 “Arts & Crafts,” widely seen as the peak of Undercover’s golden age, the same season that introduced the legendary 85 Denim. That collection was all about making and repairing by hand: sashiko, patchwork, distressing. This pair carries the same repaired back-pocket work as the 85s, with pink hearts down the front and Takahashi’s lightning bolt, a motif borrowed from Patti Smith, at the hem.
