Met Gala Series: The Model as Muse

If you know me, then you know the Met Gala is my Super Bowl😌✨ So in honor of leading up to it, I wanted to create Streetwear & contemporary looks to represent the last 20 years of Met Gala themes (2006–2025). I have a quick description of what each celebrated + the red carpet vibe. I hope you enjoy this series & would love to hear what Met Gala themes were your favorites!🖤✨ 2009 — The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Celebrated iconic supermodels and their influence. Vibe: high-gloss, bombshell, editorial energy. I wanted to take the approach of the model off duty aesthetic and inspiration from some iconic models from the 90s. I created 2 looks both classic silhouettes with just hints of high fashion. The looks are simple but you know they’re expensive.
