- These first type trousers are reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's", based on vintage. So-called "Jungle Fatigues," the tropical field uniforms adopted and issued during the Vietnam War underwent modifications over time. While the first model had exposed buttons, later models featured concealed buttons to prevent them from getting caught on branches or equipment during jungle combat. The internal straps for securing the cargo pocket contents were removed, and the waist adjustment tabs were changed from buttoned to hardware fasteners, with the material upgraded to ripstop fabric.
