In 1904, Louis Cartier built a wristwatch for aviator Alberto Santos Dumont so he could tell time mid-flight, and the design became one of the first modern wristwatches. Its rounded dial, curved horns and exposed screws are still recognizable in this update. The stainless steel case houses an automatic chronograph movement, paired with a satin-brushed silvered dial, black Roman numerals and a date window.
