Our designers are obsessed with denim—and it shows. These trousers combine the polish of a dress pant with the everyday ease of denim. They're made from substantial 14.25-ounce 100 percent cotton selvedge denim sourced from Japan's Kaihara, one of the largest and best-known denim makers in the world. In more than 50 years of production, Kaihara has patented machines to improve the weaving process and developed new techniques that blend American and Japanese dyeing traditions. "Selvedge" refers to the self-finished edge of a piece of fabric, a tightly woven band that keeps the hem from unraveling and fraying.
