- From RRV Series, REMI RELIEF’s new line, a pair of jeans faithfully reproducing the 1954 501XX, has been released. Based on vintage jeans, every detail has been carefully reproduced, from donut buttons and hidden rivets to the sizing, fabric, and construction, with no modern interpretation added, faithfully capturing the original's look and feel. The original denim fabric was developed from the ground up. 100% cotton thread is used for the stitching, allowing the thread itself to develop greater character along with the aging of the denim. The greatest appeal of these jeans lies in the unique character they develop through continued wear. The design stays true to the classic details of the original, with iron buttons used throughout. The buttons naturally develop rust over time, adding to their vintage character as the jeans are worn.
