- "SUGAR CANE" is one of the popular American casual wear brands that has been around for a long time in Japan. This 14.25oz denim jacket is the reproduction of the 1953 model during the transitional period when denim jackets changed from work clothes to casual clothing. The original jacket, commonly known as "2nd", is a masterpiece representing the 1950s and is also known to have been worn by Elvis Presley. The silhouette is based on the vintage jacket from the 1950s, with a rugged boxy shape. It features pleats to increase mobility and box stitching on the front part. Like denim, the deer leather patch and iron buttons with the brand logo will become even more textured over time. Bar-tack and rivet on the cuffs for reinforcement are reminiscent of the robustness requirement for work items at that time. - Main Fabric: 14.25oz.
