This is the J27 redesigned for high-temperature environments. Built with ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene ripstop, it provides minimal yet critical functionality by way of it’s tenacity, packability, and single-layer non-membrane construction. Perfect for evening drops in temperature, switches to air-conditioned interiors, and adding coverage without warmth. Multiply portable and highly variable. J27 features our integrated Fast Hoodǽ design. The 3D collar ridge allows you to index both hood and collar intuitively; making it both stowable and deployable by touch alone. Perfect alignment in either state is a matter of seconds. The remainder of the jacket is equally forward, with ACR-typical details such as Forcelockǽ, Jacketslingǽ, and articulated Speedlockǽ hem, as well as a pocket layout that merges hand and holster pockets into a single unit. The KG fit block is a hybrid of vintage Japanese kimono and modern technical sportswear pattern making. Generous (zero resistance DFMA fit) yet economical (minimal seams and weight), it feels light and effortless. 1.3/CV specific features include a drawcord waist (pull paracord to tighten, pull button to loosen), updated sleeve hitch tabs, holster pocket expansion pleat, ultralight CapeSlingǽ, and a lumbar position TensionZipǽ stow pocket that can be worn chest-rig (via CapeSlingǽ) or cross-body style (with JacketSlingǽ).
