AWAKE NY reimagines the GEL-KAYANO™ TRAINER 21 sneaker’s archived aesthetics and performance capability with two colorways of the hybrid silhouette. The upper’s heritage construction from the 1990s is modified with soft pigskin nubuck overlays and semi-translucent ASICS Stripes on the sides. Accompanied by three different lace options – one that features 3M reflective hits, these shoes also have reflective accents on the heel loop. Additionally, AWAKE’s signature moniker is tonally embossed onto the toe panel’s exterior angle. This variation also applies the same tooling from 2014's GEL-KAYANO™ 21 running shoe, featuring GEL™ technology in the heel and forefoot.
