Cut from a Japanese military cotton satin, woven in faithful reproduction of the cloth once used for service dress, the fabric has a compact, faintly lustrous handle that feels smarter than your average fatigue. Finished in natural ecru, the undyed cotton recalls the earliest, no-nonsense uniforms, before khaki and camouflage. Bar-tacked back pockets stand up to hard wear, while our signature slanted front patch pockets lend both ease and a distinctive line. The silhouette is clean and straight, but not parade-ground stiff.
