Inspired by the classic Levi's design from 1953, our take on the "Type II" jacket is cut slightly longer in the body, with a less boxy silhouette than the original. This version is constructed from our 19oz selvedge denim, woven with indigo rope-dyed warp and beige weft yarns. With authentic features including knife pleats and a rear buckle cinch, this is one of the most robust Type II jackets we've ever made, combining traditional styling with heavyweight durability. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage. - No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines Care Guidelines - We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle.
