The FoxFibre® Green Weft Selvedge is a 13oz Japanese selvedge denim made entirely from organic FoxFibre® cotton. The distinctive green-grey tone comes from natural green FoxFibre® cotton that has been treated with iron-mordant, a mineral-based process used to deepen and stabilize naturally occurring color. Rather than adding dye, the iron reacts with the cotton’s inherent pigment, resulting in an earthy green-grey hue that grows more pronounced with wash and wear. The cotton is grown in California, the yarns spun in Osaka, and the fabric woven in Okayama.
