Description
Product Details This Derby Shoe is made with Blake stitching, also known as through-and-through stitching. It was in 1858 that shoemaker Leeman Reed Blake, a young employee of sewing machine manufacturer Singer, invented this technique, which adds flexibility and lightness to the shoe. Paraboot makes its shoes in Spain, utilizing local craftsmen and traditional techniques. It’s a 4th-generation business founded in France by Remy Richard. The name is a mashup of “Para” (the port they sourced their latex from) and the American “boot” that inspired Remy early on. - Blake Stitching - Unlined - Leather Upper - Natural Rubber Sole - UK Sizing - Style 92451 Materials & Care - 100% Leather
