Some ideas begin with a personal reflection

While writing The Language of Self-Expression for NOIR, I found myself thinking more deeply about individuality — how we develop our own visual language, discover what resonates with us, and gradually move beyond simply following trends. This reflection inspired a new direction within NOIR: NOIR — Visual Studies. An ongoing series of visual explorations into form, femininity, material, proportion, colour and design — bringing together fashion, art, culture and personal perspective.
