FerrariOriginal F1 piston from 2011

This piston comes from the engine of the Ferrari 150° Italia, the single-seater designed by the Maranello-based manufacturer to compete in the 2011 Formula 1 World Championship. Driven by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, the car took the top step of the podium at the 2011 British Grand Prix and achieved several top-three finishes. These results allowed the team to finish the season in third place in the Constructors' Championship. The piston is mounted on a minimalist and elegant pedestal designed by the Ferrari Style Center, made of transparent methacrylate obtained with a special polymer of exceptional durability and an extra-clear finish, similar to that of glass, which gives the object a striking suspension effect. The base, made of aluminum brushed to varying degrees and then anodized to a glossy finish with an anti-fingerprint treatment, adds depth and dynamism to the shadow cast by the piece. Dedicated to collectors and enthusiasts who want to own a piece of the Ferrari spirit, each certified and authenticated item in the prestigious Ferrari Collectibles range celebrates the mechanics of the Ferrari legend, a symbol of innovation, craftsmanship, and beauty. Born for speed, reborn for beauty.
