FV2 - the butterfly effect (Oscar de la Renta; Givenchy; David Yurman)

The dress would speak for itself - short, “fluffy” with lots of oomph that doesn’t need competing against. However, the shoes also need to be interesting & add another texture - avoiding adding a plain strap or basic heel which while it could “let the dress do the talking”, it’s an opportunity to also build a cohesive look that can tell a story from head to toe. The clutch isn’t the main star here, but I like how the little jewel ties in nicely with the burgundy. Jewels are also minimal - x2 stacked bands on one side with a slightly heavier ring on the other. Pave set diamonds would catch the light. The earrings are gorgeous here - I’m envisioning them to be a larger statement earring, this dress needs it & the lines are perfect.
