Lookbook
Description
The USMC M-44 HBT Trousers from Buzz Rickson's traces its origins to United States Marine Corps in 1944. Known as the M44 (or P44), its name reflects both the year the pattern was established and the year it was officially adopted, marking a pivotal moment in functional combat design. These M-44 trousers were designed to be worn as a matching set with the M-44 jacket (or P) built with for function and wearability at their core. Cut in a loose, utilitarian fit, these trousers feature fully reversible construction. Made in Japan, one side comes in a green woodland camouflage on herringbone twill, while the reverse offers a contrasting beige desert camo. Each side is purpose-built: the woodland face features an oversized rear pocket spanning the hips, designed to carry field equipment and accessible via flaps on either side. Flip to the desert side and you’ll find practical front pockets, again with side flap access for ease of use in the field. These M-44s are finished with a button front, waist eyelets for attaching hook-type suspenders, alongside traditional belt loops, offering a number of styling & wearing options. - 100% cotton - Herringbone twill (HBT) - Based on 1944 USMC issue M-44 Trousers - Reversible - Button front - Oversized rear pocket on one side - Two front pockets on reverse, w/ side flap access - Waist eyelets - Belt loops - High rise - Straight fit - Made in Japan
