- Based on a 10-button pea coat issued to U.S. Navy petty officers in the 1910s. The body length has been shortened slightly, and the original 36 oz. wool melton outer fabric has been replaced with jungle cloth. The rayon-cotton satin lining has been replaced with corduroy, while smooth satin is used for the sleeve lining. The ends of all four pocket openings are reinforced with triangular leather patches.
