GARETH PUGH'S debut shoe collaboration with Melissa was a natural pairing, considering their mutual love of plastic as a design material. Pugh's capsule collection for the brand comprises two styles; a flat peep toe gladiator sandal adorned with Pugh signature zig-zag print which comes in combinations of black, white and silver, and inspired by the designer's spring/summer 2009 show. "The Melissa style has quite an amour-like quality to them which I love" said Pugh. "Essentially though, they're an open work sandal - nothing as weighty or as cumbersome as armour.
