Met Gala Series: Superfine

If you know me, then you know the Met Gala is my Super Bowl😌✨ So in honor of leading up to it, I wanted to create Streetwear & contemporary looks to represent the last 20 years of Met Gala themes (2006–2025). I have a quick description of what each celebrated + the red carpet vibe. I hope you enjoy this series & would love to hear what Met Gala themes were your favorites!🖤✨ 2025 — Superfine: Tailoring Black Style Celebrated Black dandyism, tailoring, and the cultural history of refined menswear in Black communities. Vibe: sharp suiting, exaggerated tailoring, heritage elegance, bold precision. It’s only fitting to complete this series the night of this years Met Gala🤍 i kept the look in the same neutral color scheme. Pairing fitted and tailored pieces together. I didn’t want to do too much jewelry. So i went with a statement collar necklace. And then i love the idea of adding a couple different brooches to the blazer. I completed the look with a Fedora and the Tie Me tote from Moschino.
