Los Angeles-based AIREI offers a fresh take on contemporary ready-to-wear. Founded in 2021 by creative director Drew Curry, the brand's deconstructed aesthetic stems from Curry's study of the political and technical history of cotton. The name AIREI, translated from the Greek expression "to cut away," reflects its signature visibly stitched, pieced-together style. The collection features relaxed open knits, asymmetrical quilted vests, and paneled denim with raw thread detailing, serving as a reminder of each garment's underlying components. Challenging traditional tailoring, AIREI creates clothing for the unconventional.
