TOGA VIRILIS for Men

TOGA VIRILIS, the menswear division of Tokyo-based women’s line Toga Pulla, emerged from designer Yasuko Furuta’s passion for vintage fashion. Furuta, a graduate of ESMOD Japan and Paris, founded her label in Tokyo in 1997, naming it after the ancient Roman garment. Known for her bold, meticulous designs, she blends elements of androgyny and unexpected femininity with classic men's styles, harmonizing eras, themes, and references. TOGA VIRILIS features avant-garde details like super-detailed metallic belt buckles, suede leathers, and bolo ties, reflecting a rock 'n' roll aesthetic and a nod to the Wild West, all while bridging casual and formal contexts.
