ARMANI/ARCHIVIO SS1981 CREW-NECK JUMPER
Lookbook
Description
This crew-neck jumper is the new edition of a style from the SS1981 Collection, a reinterpretation that is part of an outfit consisting of a jumper and trousers. This look, photographed for the Spring/Summer campaign of that year by Aldo Fallai, represents an important step in the definition of a modern and more recognisable aesthetic. The garment stands out for its refined, textured construction, defined by the jacquard knit in a blend of wool, cashmere and silk. The geometric motif introduces visual depth and rhythm, playing on calibrated contrasts that enhance the surface of the garment without ostentation. The Spring/Summer 1981 collection marks an evolution of the masculine silhouette towards slimmer and more fluid lines, abandoning rigidity in favour of a more natural construction. The tailoring remains lean but enriched by bold graphic designs that introduce depth and dynamism. Functional elements and sporting and military references are reworked with an urban twist, helping to define a recognisable, modern and ever-changing aesthetic.
