The Real McCoysMS25102 U.S.N. Wool Blue Flannel Shirt / U.S.S. Brooklyn Navy

Lookbook

Description

Meet the “Liberty Cuffs” CPO shirt, basically a classic shirt with embroidered patches sewn inside the sleeves. In the Navy, where rules were king, these cuffs became a sneaky way for sailors to show a bit of personality. They’d roll up their sleeves on shore leave and let the patches peek out. Starting in the early 1900s, especially among the Asia Fleet, it caught on, and by wartime it had become a full-blown naval tradition. Something special you would like to order from The Real McCoy's? Don't hesitate to for all special orders and we would be more than happy to oblige!
