Founded by Delhi-born, London-based designer Ashish Gupta, Ashish is a must-see fixture at London Fashion Week, earning Gupta the nickname “king of sequins.” After studying Fine Art in Delhi and completing an MA in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins, Gupta began making clothes for friends until his talent was discovered by Yeda Yun of Browns Focus in 2001. Known for transforming classic silhouettes and sportswear with high-octane hand-embellishments, bright colors, and slogans, Ashish blends Western and Eastern influences with exceptional craftsmanship. The brand has won the NEWGEN Award three times and has been exhibited in the V&A and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
