Mannequin is 33”, 24”,36” for reference Notes: From Spring 1997 Gucci collection, designed by the one and only Tom Ford A minimal blk tube dress that is the sister version of the famous lurex dress of the same collection, as worn by Naomi Campbell as the iconic closing look of the season The dress is intended to be form fitting and would cling to the body perfect, it will naturally gather up in the waist area NOTE: The dress fits very large for our mannequin as it is a sz36-38, hence we cannot convey its original intended fit. *NOTE: We later found out the straps are likely added by the previous owner, please let us know if you would like to have them removed We recommend true to size fitting for this dress for the most desirable fit Made from a soft laine wool blend that is rather stretchy Made in Italy Tangent: We have a very strong conviction that this was the exact dress worn by Victoria Beckham in the 1997 Spice World, in which coined the term “Little Gucci Dress”, directly in the scenes after the concert in the corridors, on the bus, and the bit with Johnathan ross. Since there is very little to go on to distinguish all the black tube dresses, the only notable discernible detail is the slight curved drop at the back of the bust, she was also wearing the ankle wrapped heels from the same collection.
