- This is the reproduction of the "REVERSE WEAVE SWEATSHIRT" of which Champion granted a second-time manufacturing process patent in 1952. "Reverse Weave" is that the fabric originally used in the vertical direction is used in the horizontal direction to prevent vertical fabric shrinkage, and at the same time, "EXPANSION GUSSET" on both underarms, which was not used for the 1st model in 1938, is adopted to reduce the influence of horizontal shrinkage. With this improvement which takes into account ease of movement, Champion got a second manufacturing process patent. The name tag on the collar with "Reverse Weave®" and the patent number of Expansion Gusset is also faithfully reproduced. The print is based on an actual vintage product design.
