This extraordinary dress from Missoni's top tier orange label is knit in watery shades of aqua, pale celadon, and gray. The dress has an adjustable drawstring at the neckline for closure, which can be adjusted to customize the neckline, fit through the torso, and to some extent the length. The truly amazing highlight of the dress are three bands of brilliant cut, prong set colored crystals (pale shades of green, yellow, and gray) encircling the dress below the hips. I wish you could see how much these crystals sparkle! A pretty accurate count of the number of crystals on the dress is 2340! The fabric is a 100% viscose knit; only the bottom of the dress is lined in blue silk with 8% elastane for stretch. Barney's New York retail tag is still attached, revealing a retail price of $3250 and an Italian size 40, which is usually equivalent to a US size 4. MEASUREMENTS - Use the drawstring to adjust the shoulder width to your preference. - Chest is 46" with the drawstring completely loose. - Waist is free. - The knit band separating the upper part of the dress from the top row of crystals is 34" and is just a little bit stretchy. This section should hit right below your "rear end" but could vary, depending on your height, hip measurement, and the degree to which you have cinched the drawstring. - The rest of the dress is 36" around.
