- Emanuel Ungaro Parallele 4-piece suit comprising a wool jacket trimmed in black velvet, a black velvet pencil skirt, a silk blouse, and an accordian pleated scarf. -Jacket has lightly puffed shoulders with shoulder pads. Fabric has large purple and teal flowers on tobacco-colored background. Collar, lapels, and trim are black velvet. Five decorative and one functional button(s) on front. Cuffs have four functional buttons. Four besom pockets on front, but only two appear to be functional. - Blouse and scarf are magenta silk with a gorgeous multi-colored paisley pattern. Blouse has pleated shoulders, shoulder pads, long tapered sleeves with four functional brass buttons at wrists, a finished hem, and a one-button keyhole closure at back of neck. Scarf is accordian pleated. - Pencil skirt is black velvet with waistband, in-seam side pockets, and side zipper. - No fabric labels. Jacket fabric appears to be wool; velvet is probably cotton, and blouse and scarf are silk. Jacket and skirt linings are silk. - No size labels. Currently the suit is a size 0, because of the skirt measurements. It would be a size 2 if the skirt waist were slightly larger, but there are plenty of small gathers at the waistband to let out and increase the waist size. This would require splicing the waistband, but a small piece of matching fabric (black cotton velvet) should be easy to find. JACKET MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 14.5" between seams; 15.5 to edges of shoulder pads. - Underarm chest measurment is 35" - Waist is 30 " - Sleeve length is 22.5 from edge of shoulder pad. - Length is 23" down center back excluding collar. SKIRT MEASUREMENTS - Waist is 24" - Hips measure 35" at about 8" below waist. - Length is 22.5" including waistband. BLOUSE & SCARF MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 16" to edges of shoulder pads. - Underarm chest measurement is 39" - Sleeve length is 20.5" - Length is 25.5" down center back. - Scarf is about 46" x 7" with pleats in place. CONDITION All of the pieces in this vintage ensemble are in excellent condition with no apparent flaws.
