Rare Japanese military aviation souvenir piece. This is the official Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) PX-exclusive flight jacket released in Spring 2013. It was produced as a limited commemorative piece to celebrate the legendary "Blue Impulse" aerobatic squadron returning to their home base at Matsushima Air Base (Miyagi Prefecture) after a two-year displacement following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Features heavy-duty navy blue nylon construction, high-quality detailed back embroidery showing the squadron's T-4 jet formation, and lightweight Thermolite thermal insulation. Includes front and sleeve velcro panels for patches. Condition: Great vintage condition with no major flaws. Embroidery is completely intact. (Note: Please see photos for patch availability).
