What is REVERSIBLE?

REVERSIBLE is a platform that enables you to shop for your favorite designer items in a new, sustainable way with a fashion-forward community of brands, retailers, and individuals. We collect and aggregate seasonal garments from authorized retailers and boutiques from around the world, and at the same time, facilitate finding and buying beloved pieces from global fashion enthusiasts in our Marketplace section.

At REVERSIBLE, we encourage shopping for the latest trends while also exploring your own individual tastes with the support of a helpful and interactive community.

How does REVERSIBLE work?

REVERSIBLE has two sections that cater to different types of shoppers: Retail and Marketplace.

The Retail side of our website has over 100,000+ product listings from authorized brands and retailers and is for those who want to shop new items directly from official sources. If you want to purchase a product then you can click on Shop to be directed to the brand or retailer's website to complete your purchase directly.

The Marketplace section, on the other hand, allows individual users like you to auction off their preloved or unused designer items. It has over 10,000 styles for you to choose from, with new pieces added daily. Click on Buy Now if you want to purchase an item at the seller's listing price. If you want to place an offer for any item, then use the Offer option or contact the seller directly using the Message button.

Do I need an account to use REVERSIBLE?

You don't need an account to browse, search and compare prices for products. However, you will need an account to sell or place orders, follow or message users, and other personalization features such as adding items to your Watchlist.

How much does REVERSIBLE charge as a commission fee?

Buying is always free of charge, and currently, there are no fees for selling as an individual on REVERSIBLE.

However, 3rd party payment processors, such as PayPal, may charge the sellers a fee depending on the buyer's location.

Will REVERSIBLE start charging fees in the future?

Yes and No.

For retailer (boutique) users, we may charge commission fees in the future while providing extra features that help facilitate inventory management, sales, customer services, etc.

On the other hand, we strive to offer free services to individual sellers. To keep this organic and sustainable, we would appreciate it if you purchase from our affiliate retailers via our redirect links only, if applicable. This way you would also be able to take advantage of our upcoming features such as easy resell listing and our proprietary authenticity tracing.

What is Measurable™?

Measurable™ is our patent-pending technology that lets you find out the detailed measurements of any part of an item at the touch of your finger. This feature works for items on the Marketplace side of our website only and not for products listed in the Retail section.

What is Ensemble™?

Ensemble™ is our digital lookbook where individuals and brands can post styling inspiration. Browse through it for ideas of your next outfit. If you like something, then click on the tagged products to purchase it.

You can also share your own outfits and tag the products for others to use as inspiration; Discover your favorite designers and topics, runway or archive, and indulge in the world of fashion in Ensemble™.⁠

What is the purpose of the Watchlist?

The Watchlist feature on our website allows you to track a product for size availability, price drops, and coupons. To add an item to your Watchlist, simply click on the small bell icon next to the product listing price and select your preferred Condition and Size to get automatically notified about changes in the price.

How do I contact support and when can I expect to hear back?

If you have a query that has not been covered in this FAQ, please feel free to drop us a message at support@reversible.com. Although we will do our best to get back to you within 48 hours, response time may vary as we currently have limited capacity.

What's REVERSIBLE growth program and how do I level up?

The REVERSIBLE growth program is designed to measure one's overall activity and engagement on our platform with a visual representation, and to help you trace your epic fashion odyssey.

As you engage with our community, participate in activities, and explore the latest fashion trends, you will earn experience points and level up within the program. We hope this will make your fashion journey more rewarding and fun. This will not only allow you to track your own progress, but also compare your achievements and connect with other fashion enthusiasts in our community.

Buying

Which currencies can I shop in?

Currently we support prices displayed in USD($), EUR(€), GBP(£), CAD($), AUD($), JPY(¥). However, payment will be made in the currency mentioned by the seller in the original listing.

Please note that foreign currency conversion is for reference only, the final amount may be different due to foreign exchange rate fluctuations and variations from 3rd party payment processors.

What is an Offer and how does it work?

There are multiple ways to buy on REVERSIBLE: "Shop", "Offer" or "Buy Now".

Shop in our Retail section redirects you to our affiliate retailer website. If you would like to continue the purchase, simply checkout on their website and complete payment. You should receive an order confirmation email directly from the retailer, followed by tracking information when it is shipped.

Offer in our Marketplace section lets you negotiate the price with the seller if applicable. You can either send a private offer to a seller from the listing, or within a private message. Please note that offers will be pre-approved and valid for 48 hours, which means your payment will be automatically processed if the seller accepts your offer within 48 hours.

Buy Now in our Marketplace section lets you purchase the item immediately from the seller at the listing price. You will receive an order confirmation message along with your order details. Feel free to communicate with the seller in the message.

How do you ensure authenticity on items selling on REVERSIBLE, and what if I purchased a fraudulent item?

At this moment REVERSIBLE doesn't guarantee the authenticity of items listed for sale from individual users. However, as a unique platform that works with authorized retailers/boutiques, we have a long-term plan towards a leading solution for improving authenticity.

If you've had an issue with an order, communication with the seller is usually a good way to resolve it. If you purchased an inauthentic item, please report it to us immediately. We have zero tolerance for fraud on REVERSIBLE.

Every purchase via PayPal on REVERSIBLE is covered by PayPal Purchase Protection. If you can't resolve the issue with the seller directly, please file a PayPal dispute/claim against the seller in order to get your money back.

How bidding works?

In an auction-type listing, sellers set a starting price, and you bid against other buyers. Track your bids under My Auctions in your account. The highest bidder at the listing's end wins and pays for the item. When placing a bid, you may need to provide payment details and a shipping address. Additionally, a bid deposit is required for your first bid in each auction. If you win, payment must be completed within 48 hours to avoid forfeiting the bid deposit to the seller. This ensures smooth transactions for all parties involved. If you don't win, the bid deposit will be fully refunded to your original payment method, which may take a few days to process.

Selling

I'm an authorized retailer, how do I sell on REVERSIBLE?

If you have a web store powered by Shopify, join our retailer program in which we will work with you on integration as a Shopify Collaborator. This way users are able to purchase from or message you directly on REVERSIBLE, and we make sure you don't miss any important event with email notifications. Any sale made on REVERSIBLE will be synced to your web store inventory for a seamless and worry-free experience.

I'm a reseller, how do I sell on REVERSIBLE?

If you sell on other platforms such as Grailed, Poshmark or Vestiaire Collective, the first time when you create a listing on REVERSIBLE you will be given an option to import listings and ratings from your 3rd party account after verification. Thereafter, you can also sync your listings manually under your profile settings.

If you have a web store powered by Shopify, join our reseller program in which we will work with you on integration as a Shopify Collaborator. This way users are able to purchase from, offer or message you directly on REVERSIBLE, and rest assured you won't miss any important event with email notifications. Any sale made on REVERSIBLE will also be synced to your web store inventory to keep everything up to date.

Otherwise, if you just started as an individual seller, follow the instructions when you create a listing on REVERSIBLE and enjoy the ease of selling with ZERO platform fees. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at: support@reversible.com

Does REVERSIBLE offer protection for sellers?

Every sale you make via PayPal on REVERSIBLE is covered by PayPal Seller Protection so long as the transaction aligns with the necessary requirements for eligibility.

• Transaction was completed on REVERSIBLE and all seller/buyer communication regarding the transaction was done via the REVERSIBLE platform.
• Item was shipped to the provided address (as listed on the PayPal Transactions Details page) with proper tracking information.
• Items purchased for $750 or more are shipped with signature confirmation upon receipt of the package.

Returns & refunds

REVERSIBLE is not responsible for any returns or refunds. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact the retailer or seller directly about their return policy if applicable. In case that doesn't work out, please feel free to list the product on our Marketplace platform and help it find another home.
