Description
A gorgeous coat from Ann’s time designing at her brand from her Fall 2009 season. Crafted from a super soft cashmere fabric, the coat has a folded neckline that can be worn open with a Rick Exploder-esque look or buttoned for a more traditional double-breasted shape. The coat features stitching at the elbows to keep them bent, allowing the coat to fit more anatomically naturally and to create stacking when the arms are held straight. An additional layer of fabric at the hem of the sleeve creates additional visual interest. Detailing at the shoulder creates a raised effect for a more aggressive and powerful shape. Tagged a 38, this coat fits like a men’s XS. I’ve included two photos on myself; for reference, I normally wear a 44-46 or XS-S. This coat is in good condition with the outer showing some light pilling but no egregious wear. There is a hole in the lining of the left side pocket which should be fixable by a tailor. Note that the two images of the coat on a mannequin are of another copy of this same coat, and the remainder of the photos are of the piece I have on hand.
