Vintage 1972 Omega chronometer electronic watch in gold with ostrich leather band. From the Geneve line, early electronic watch that utilizes a tuning fork (f300Hz) in the 12-jewel movement rather than the cheaper quartz movement that came later. Radial brushed dial with date window at 3 o’clock marker. Constant sweeping seconds hand. Ribbed crown at 3 o’clock with embossed logo. Stainless case back. Ostrich leather band with gold-tone buckle. Etched “20” between lugs, signifying 20 microns gold appliqué. Caliber: 1250 (aka ESA 9162) Case ID: 198.030 (198.0030) Serial: 34200623 Great condition. Surface scratches to case and case back, as expected with a 50 year old watch. Fresh battery, keeps time extremely well.
